How do I perform the magnet test on my cookware?

Before you head out to replace your cookware, grab a magnet off your fridge for a simple at-home test of your current cookware. Hold the magnet to the bottom and sides of your cookware and see if it clings to it.

• If the magnet clings to it, then it should perform just fine on an induction cooktop.
• If there is an attraction, but it only softly grabs onto the metal, then it may not perform as well.
• If it doesn’t have a magnetic attraction, then it won’t work with your new cooktop.
